I started humming "Black-capped Chickadee" a year or so ago while working in my garden. The chickadees and red-winged blackbirds were singing their hearts out and I started whistling right along as my daughter and I planted a couple rows of peas. Later that day, I realized that my birdsong would pair well with a bluesy beat by my pal Tom. Over the months, one bird-brained idea led to another and now we're working on a full album.
